The role of a Busser - Service Assistant involves a range of responsibilities centered on supporting front-of-house operations and enhancing the guest experience. Bussers are instrumental in clearing and resetting tables efficiently, ensuring that the dining environment is always ready to welcome new guests promptly. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Communicates to the service staff any requests or needs of the guest
sets-up and restocks service stations before, during and after service
restocks glassware, ice and other items needed for the bar
assists service and steward staff in spot cleaning dining room as needed
supports other front-of-house positions to provide a seamless guest experience
removes dishes, silverware, glassware and other items when guests finish entrée course
returns dirty dishware, glassware, utensils and linen to dishwashing area following proper sorting system
clears all table items after guest leaves
resets vacated tables according to company procedures
keeps self and bar area clean and organized maintaining sanitation standards
performs all closing duties and side work before end of shift
able to walk and stand for up to 8 hours
follows schedule and punctuality standards
