This part-time opportunity is for Members of the Team in the Back of House (BOH) kitchen team located in Rochester, MN, at 3944 Marketplace Drive NW. The role involves working as a line cook or prep cook who prepares fresh ingredients, cooks dishes to order, and helps maintain the overall flow and efficiency of the kitchen. New team members do not need prior experience with stir-frying, as paid training is provided to develop these culinary skills. The position pays between USD $13.50 and $19.00 per hour, reflecting competitive compensation for part-time work.

As a BOH Team Member, you will be integral to delivering a great guest experience by ensuring every dish is prepared with care, consistency, and high quality. The job entails following recipes and standard procedures precisely, keeping the kitchen clean and organized, and maintaining a safe environment while working with hot equipment and cooking tools. You will play a key role during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks and working collaboratively with others to ensure timely meal preparation and excellent presentation. This role offers the chance to learn valuable cooking and kitchen operations skills, with opportunities for leadership development and continuous growth. Employees enjoy numerous benefits designed to support both their professional and personal lives, such as flexible scheduling, early wage access, meal discounts, tuition assistance, and resources for mental, legal, and financial wellness.

In addition to technical skills, we value team members who demonstrate responsibility, a positive attitude, and a willingness to support their colleagues. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 55 pounds, bend, stretch, and carry out typical restaurant tasks, with accommodations available if needed. The minimum age to apply is 16, making this a great entry-level opportunity for teenagers as well as anyone looking to gain new skills and grow within a supportive and dynamic foodservice environment. Interviews include a complimentary meal valued up to $10, emphasizing the company’s belief that great connections start with great food.

Noodles & Company invites motivated individuals to join their BOH team and be part of a company that not only values hard work but also prioritizes personal growth, well-being, and a positive workplace culture. Whether you are starting your hospitality career or looking for a flexible, rewarding job, Noodles & Company offers a welcoming community and an environment that encourages learning, development, and teamwork.
