Job Requirements

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • have the ability to stand for extended periods
  • be able to bend, reach, and lift up to 55 pounds
  • willingness to obtain and maintain any required food safety certifications
  • availability for part-time hours
  • ability to work in a team environment

  • comply with safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • no prior cooking experience required as paid training is provided
  • ability to follow recipes and kitchen procedures accurately
  • strong commitment to quality and consistency
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • physical ability to meet job demands including standing and lifting
  • willingness to learn and develop culinary skills
  • basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh ingredients and cook dishes to order
  • ensure each dish is prepared consistently with quality and attention to presentation
  • follow recipes, preparation guides, and standard procedures accurately
  • learn and refine cooking and sautéing skills through hands-on training
  • maintain pace during high demand hours and support efficient kitchen flow
  • work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with clear communication
  • manage multiple tasks effectively during busy shifts
  • work safely around kitchen equipment, heat, and steam
  • use kitchen tools, timers, and basic systems daily
  • keep the restaurant clean and organized, complying with food safety and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate responsibility, a positive attitude, and willingness to support the team each shift
  • meet physical requirements including standing for long periods, bending, reaching, lifting up to 55 pounds, and performing routine restaurant tasks
  • obtain and maintain any required food safety licenses or certifications according to regulations
