The Microbiologist - 2nd Shift position at IEH Laboratories offers a full-time opportunity to play a critical role in supporting food safety operations. This role is based at the Modesto facility and operates on the second shift schedule, from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday. The hourly pay rate ranges from $21.00 to $23.00, reflecting the specialized skill set required. The microbiologist will be responsible for analyzing food samples to detect pathogens using advanced techniques such as polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and immunoassays. Additional duties include microbial enumeration, media preparation, data entry, quality control, and laboratory reporting.
