The role of the MHE (Material Handling Equipment) Maintenance Technician at US Foods is crucial for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of warehouse operations. This full-time position starts at a competitive wage of $35.83 per hour and involves the upkeep and repair of essential warehouse machinery such as pallet jacks, high lifts, forklifts, and batteries. The technician ensures that all equipment is safe, functional, and compliant with company policies and government safety regulations. This role supports both day and night operations, playing a pivotal role in facilitating smooth shipping and receiving processes.

Technicians in this role manage a comprehensive maintenance schedule, performing preventative maintenance (PM) and logging repairs meticulously, which helps avoid operational interruptions. In addition to mechanical repairs, the position involves light maintenance duties including replacing light bulbs, painting, and minor drywall or concrete repairs.
