The role of Armed Transport Guard - LLV embodies the frontline of Brink’s security operations. In this capacity, the employee acts as the brand’s ambassador, charged with the safe transport of cash and valuables between business and banking locations. The position requires operating within a team-oriented environment where safety, accuracy, and superior customer service drive daily activities. Armed Transport Guards are expected to maintain alertness to potential security threats and safety concerns, handle high-value assets with integrity, and adhere strictly to protocols involving firearms and secure transportation. This role is vital in ensuring a seamless flow of economic activity by protecting assets and maintaining customer trust.
This position demands readiness to comply with stringent Department of Transportation requirements and security licensing regulations. The Armed Transport Guard will reconcile deposits and receipts with meticulous attention to detail, service and maintain ATM functionalities, and consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences. Brink’s provides company-issued uniforms, weapons, and bulletproof vests where applicable, alongside paid training designed to enhance professional skills and career prospects. Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Meet all Department of Transportation requirements
- Firearms permit or eligibility to obtain one
- Ability to obtain necessary state or local security licenses including a guard card
- Pass background check, drug screening, and training
Job Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Meet all Department of Transportation requirements
- Firearms permit or eligibility to obtain one
- Ability to obtain necessary state or local security licenses including a guard card
- Pass background check, drug screening, and training
- Preferred experience in armed security or transportation
- Military background
- Experience working in a logistics distribution center
- Chauffeur license (IN, LA, MI only)
