Job Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of food service experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must be 18 years or older
- RBS certification or willingness to obtain within the first few months of employment
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills and proficiency with POS systems
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of food service experience hotel or resort experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of food beverage and service standards
- Familiarity with wine beer spirits and beverage pairings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused mindset
- Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion with sensitive information
- Basic math skills and proficiency with POS systems
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English
- Must be at least 18 years old
- RBS certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and present menus offering recommendations on food cocktails and wine pairings
- Explain menu items preparation methods and daily specials
- Accurately take orders noting dietary restrictions allergies and special requests
- Enter orders into the POS system and coordinate timing with kitchen staff to ensure proper meal pacing
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns
- Clear clean and reset tables efficiently
