The role of Receptionist/Concierge at Mercy Retirement and Care Center is crucial in welcoming residents, team members, visitors, and the public with warmth and professionalism. This position acts as the frontline communicator by managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and handling various administrative duties. The Receptionist/Concierge is instrumental in providing exceptional customer service and supporting internal teams, including assisting the Marketing Director with admissions and room preparations. The role requires maintaining the flow of communication and ensuring the orderly distribution of packages, mail, and office supplies. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- at least one year of experience in concierge or similar role preferred
- familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat and/or Adobe Reader
- current first aid/CPR certification may be required
- demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- completion of background check and drug screening
- pre-employment screenings may include physical, TB test, and fingerprinting per state/local guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education, training and experience
- at least one year of previous experience in a concierge or similar role preferred
- familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat and/or Adobe Reader
- demonstrated written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties
- Assists with greeting residents, team members, appropriate parties, and the public
- takes calls, schedule meetings and appointments, and other front desk duties as assigned
- provides exceptional customer service to our team
- performs general administrative tasks (taking messages, routing calls, taking memos/notes)
- assist the Marketing Director with inputting admissions, screening and room preparations
- distributes packages, mail, and other deliveries
- maintains office supplies, order new inventory as needed
- performs other duties as assigned
