Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail, cashier, or stocking experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Basic math skills and familiarity with price tagging
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Job Qualifications
- Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Effective organizational skills
- Previous cashier and/or stocking experience preferred
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle is a plus
- Fluency in multiple languages, Spanish highly desired
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and accessories is advantageous
- Customer service experience
Job Duties
- Greet customers on sales floor and assist with merchandise location
- Direct customers to parts specialist if hard parts are needed
- Check in, price, and stock merchandise
- Keep merchandise displays fronted, full, and clean daily
- Make display changes according to company guidelines and planograms
- Perform all price changes and sales signage updates
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns
- Act as main shoplifting deterrent and maintain front floor security
- Complete sales preparation and operational tasks as assigned by management
- Efficiently check out customers and handle merchandise returns
- Assist with ticket processing during busy periods
- Maintain sales flyer racks and ensure sale merchandise quantity
- Clock in and out according to company policy
