Merchandiser / Stocking Associate | Part Time - Evenings & Weekends

The role of Store Team Member, internally known as Merchandiser, is integral to maintaining the brand reputation of Total Wine & More through exceptional customer service and efficient store operations. This position involves a broad range of responsibilities centered around maximizing product inventory and supporting the company’s online business operations. Merchandisers are vital in ensuring that customers enjoy a seamless and positive shopping experience, whether they visit the store, shop online, or use curbside and delivery services.

Primary duties include processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, stocking shelves, creating product displays and signage, and assisting with digital order fulfillment. The role requires dedication to safety and cleanliness standards within the store and strict adherence to laws governing the sale of alcohol, fostering a compliant and secure shopping environment. A key component of the role is delivering personalized service by greeting customers, sharing product knowledge through ongoing wine, spirits, and beer training, and engaging customers to build lasting relationships.

Merchandisers must be adaptable, as they may be assigned tasks ranging from sales support to front-end responsibilities depending on business needs. When delivery duties are assigned, safe and professional handling of order deliveries, including driving, is essential. This position demands physical stamina, as it involves prolonged periods of standing, lifting heavy items, and exposure to varying weather conditions.
