The role of Merchandiser at Total Wine & More is a crucial position within the store team, integral to supporting both in-store and digital business operations. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for maximizing product inventory through various activities such as processing freight, organizing and distributing products, pulling and stocking merchandise, and building attractive displays including end caps and signage placement. This role also supports digital sales efforts by fulfilling online orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services, which may include driving and making deliveries when assigned. The position generally focuses on merchandising responsibilities, but flexibility is key, as you may be assigned to sales, front-end, or other duties as needed. Merchandisers play a significant part in creating a positive shopping experience by delivering exceptional customer service and building relationships with customers through engagement and product knowledge.

Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to walk bend down repeatedly and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
- Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs overhead and repeatedly
- May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of experience preferred
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Job Duties
- Maximize product inventory including processing freight organizing and distributing inventory pulling and stocking merchandise building displays and end caps placing signage and supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services including driving and making deliveries if assigned
- Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers engaging to build relationships and informing about products and services
- Participate in wine spirits and beer training to build product knowledge
- Maintain knowledge of advertisements promotions and loyalty programs
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment
- Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned
- Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws if delivery is added as an essential job function
