The Merchandiser role at Total Wine & More is critical to maintaining the company’s reputation for outstanding customer service and product presentation. This role primarily focuses on merchandising responsibilities such as maximizing product inventory, processing freight, organizing stock, building displays, and supporting the digital business operations including fulfillment of online orders and in-store services like curbside pickup and deliveries. While the core duties emphasize merchandising, the position requires flexibility as team members may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other tasks to ensure an excellent shopping experience.

This position is open to both part-time and full-time employment, with pay ranging between $14.84 and $20.78 hourly, depending on experience and job location. Seasonal roles are typically short-term, lasting no longer than six months, with the possibility of transitioning into non-seasonal employment. Merchandisers work closely with store management to uphold compliance with alcohol sales laws, maintain store safety and cleanliness standards, and stay informed about current promotions and loyalty programs. The role requires candidates to be at least 21 years or older, capable of physical tasks such as lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and standing or walking for extended periods. Team members are encouraged to continuously build product knowledge through training in wine, spirits, and beer, enhancing their ability to deliver personalized service and build strong customer relationships.
