Merchandiser / Delivery Driver

The role internally referred to as a Merchandiser involves a variety of responsibilities that focus on optimizing product inventory, merchandising, and customer interaction. The Merchandiser maximizes product inventory through activities such as processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, expertly pulling and stocking merchandise, building attractive displays and strategic end caps, and placing signage. Beyond merchandising, the role supports digital business operations by managing order fulfillment and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned. The position requires delivering exceptional and personalized customer service by greeting customers warmly, engaging to build meaningful customer relationships, and providing knowledgeable information about products and services. Training in wine, spirits, and beer is provided to enhance product knowledge and improve service quality.

Maintaining an awareness of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs is essential to keep customers informed and engaged. The Merchandiser also upholds safety and cleanliness standards to ensure a pleasant and compliant store environment. Particular attention is given to adherence to all relevant laws and regulations related to alcohol sales to maintain compliance and safety within the store. Cross-functional responsibilities and additional duties are assigned to enhance team flexibility and meet business needs. For those assigned delivery responsibilities, safely loading and delivering orders in a professional manner is required, following company policies and abiding by all traffic and safety laws. Physical demands include standing for long hours, climbing ladders, lifting heavy items, and working in various weather conditions.
