This part-time Merchandiser position serves the Rocklin and Sacramento, CA areas and is primarily responsible for merchandising fresh bakery products in local grocery stores and accounts. The role focuses on maintaining adequate product availability on shelves and displays, ensuring that customers always find fresh and appealing baked goods when shopping. This position is typically scheduled for approximately 20 hours per week, with shifts starting early morning on Wednesdays and Sundays at 4:00 am, allowing employees to enjoy ample free time outside of work hours. This role pays a competitive starting wage of $21.35 per hour, making it an attractive part-time career opportunity for individuals seeking flexible work with great pay.

In this role, Merchandisers will take pride in ensuring the bread aisle and display locations look visually appealing and remain well-stocked. Responsibilities also include maintaining clean and organized back-room inventory, rotating products according to color codes to guarantee freshness and reduce waste, and consistently meeting store expectations for presentation. This role requires physical stamina, as associates will need to lift, push, and pull products up to 50 pounds. Additionally, some Merchandiser positions may require candidate eligibility and qualifications to drive a Department of Transportation regulated route truck, including holding a Medical Card, passing a Road Test, and being 21 years or older.
