This role of Merchandiser is critical for maintaining the consistency and availability of Anheuser-Busch products across assigned territories, specifically Orange County, Norco, Corona, Lake Elsinore, and Murrieta. Merchandisers will start their workday by first reporting to their assigned account, though daily travel to Orange County will not be required in most cases. This position is highly hands-on and involves physically interacting with the product inventory to ensure optimal shelf presence and product rotation.

The Merchandiser is responsible not only for stocking beer and beverages but also for maintaining the aesthetic standards of product displays in stores. This includes ensuring the correct placement of promotional signage and premium shelf placement. The role demands thorough inventory management in both the front-end display areas and back rooms, where stock is organized and condensed to maintain cleanliness and accessibility. Merchandisers also set up and secure displays, moving them as necessary to maximize product visibility.

An important aspect of this role is communication and reporting, as Merchandisers must submit daily summaries and work order slips to supervisors and sales representatives. They must maintain a professional and friendly relationship with customers and store personnel, adhering to Anheuser-Busch’s merchandising standards at all times. Flexibility is required, as the position involves working weekends and holidays and servicing between 9 to 12 store stops daily.

Physical demands are significant, including standing and walking for long periods, climbing stairs and ladders, handling repetitive movements like stooping and reaching, and frequently lifting as much as 50 pounds. A pre-employment physical ability test is required to ensure candidates can safely perform these tasks. The work environment varies and may include cold storage areas, grocery stores, enclosed spaces, high places, and occasionally dirty or messy areas.

This non-exempt hourly position offers paid overtime in accordance with state law.
