Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of management experience in retail or related field
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • creative problem-solving skills
  • ability to remain composed under pressure
  • physical ability to frequently lift merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and reach heights of 5-10 feet
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts and travel
  • capability to frequently ascend and descend ladders
  • ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
  • must be able to stand upright for 80 percent of the time

Job Duties

  • Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor
  • manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are properly highlighted, following corporate guidelines for resets and seasonal updates
  • manages the entire process of opening or closing the store, which includes securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring everything is in place for a smooth daily operation
  • acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and addressing any urgent issues
  • helps oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they are performing their duties effectively and providing excellent customer service
  • supports the onboarding and ongoing training of associates, helping them learn store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures to improve their performance
  • drives store sales and controls expenses by actively seeking ways to boost sales through optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service
  • executes the market plan by arranging products and signage according to corporate guidelines, ensuring promotional materials are displayed properly and updated regularly and ensures the execution of company Inventory Integrity process
