This particular opportunity is within the Sierra retail store located in Grandville, Michigan, offering a starting wage range of $15.00 to $15.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. The role centers on executing receiving and merchandising standards while leading associates to ensure efficient processing and exceptional customer service. As a key team member, you will engage with customers to provide an excellent shopping experience and ensure the store remains organized and appealing. Key responsibilities include managing merchandise flow from delivery trucks to sales floors, training and mentoring associates, maintaining merchandising and signage standards, and fostering a safety-conscious work environment. The position demands strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills to coordinate team efforts, prioritize tasks, and meet productivity goals. It also emphasizes adherence to labor laws and store policies, credit program promotions, and shrink reduction initiatives. Job Duties

  • creates a positive internal and external customer experience
  • promotes a culture of honesty and integrity
  • orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
  • trains and mentors associates on established merchandising and processing principles
  • ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
  • communicates with the coordinator on duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
  • ensures associates complete tasks and activities according to store plan, prioritizes as needed
