The Mental Health First Aid Outreach Coordinator plays a critical role in expanding awareness and training efforts related to Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) across the Tri-County service areas. The Coordinator works closely with certified MHFA trainers to ensure ongoing compliance with training standards and certification requirements. Key aspects of the role include administrative management of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) MHFA contract, including contract compliance, budget oversight, and financial reporting. The Outreach Coordinator develops and maintains strategic partnerships with educational service centers, higher education institutions, non-profit organizations, hospitals, community leaders, and first responder agencies to expand the reach and effectiveness of MHFA trainings.

The role demands a high level of professionalism as the primary liaison between TCBHC and its community stakeholders, ensuring that the organization is represented expertly.
