Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in behavioral health or related field
- Valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or psychologist in Florida
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to conduct mental health assessments and provide treatment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Capability to manage and lead clinical teams
- Availability to work full time at the Leon Regional Juvenile Detention Center
Job Qualifications
- Master’s level behavioral health clinician
- Licensed as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or licensed psychologist in the state of Florida
- Experience in mental health assessment and treatment planning
- Ability to perform individual and group therapy
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Experience working within correctional or juvenile detention settings preferred
Job Duties
- Perform individual and group therapeutic interventions as appropriate
- Perform administrative consults for specialized social services as determined by the specific needs of the institution
- Conduct psychiatric social service work on the Behavioral Health Unit of a correctional facility
- Assist in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects
- Direct special projects as requested
- Participate in and conduct in-service programs
- Assist in orientation of new staff and preparation of documentation, necessary records and reports
- Attend training and meetings as required
