Job Description
ADVOC8 is a dynamic experiential marketing agency that specializes in creating impactful experiences designed to build trust, shift perspectives, and win hearts. Renowned for its unique approach characterized by chemistry, collaboration, and an endless curiosity, ADVOC8 combines strategic thinking with creative problem-solving and storytelling to bring ideas to life. This agency works with a diverse range of clients, including brands, nonprofits, and associations, helping them connect meaningfully with their audiences. ADVOC8 fosters a flexible 'work from anywhere' environment that celebrates diversity and encourages its 'advocates'—the members of their team—to bring their unique perspectives every day.
The role of Market Manager in Memphis is a critical field position within ADVOC8’s partnership with a global tech client focused on pioneering drone delivery services. This position involves engaging local communities and consumers through hands-on demonstrations that showcase how autonomous drones deliver goods to homes and workplaces. The Market Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of local event execution, from booking and staffing to logistics and reporting. As the main point of contact for the program locally, this role demands excellent administrative and computer skills to ensure smooth event operation and support for part-time promotional staff recruitment and training. The Market Manager will also collaborate with the production team for any special events, ensuring all logistics and coordination are thoroughly managed for flawless execution. This contract position offers flexibility but requires a deep knowledge of the Memphis market and the ability to multitask across multiple projects and workstreams. The position operates within a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, aligning with the nature of community events. ADVOC8 emphasizes inclusion and strongly encourages applicants from underrepresented groups, fostering a diverse and supportive work culture. This position is based in Memphis, and applicants must reside locally as relocation sponsorship is not offered at this time.
