Hudson Grande Senior Living, a vibrant community located at 5400 Darrow Road in Hudson, OH, is seeking part-time Memory Care Homemakers to join their dedicated team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, especially those with memory care needs. As a Memory Care Homemaker, you will be instrumental in creating a safe, inviting, and comfortable environment for residents, making the community feel like a true home. The position offers a competitive starting wage between $17.75 and $18.50 per hour, along with a $750 sign-on bonus, emphasizing the company’s commitment to attracting and retaining quality caregivers.
In this role, you will be responsible for various aspects of care designed to enhance residents’ experiences, including maintaining a tidy and homelike atmosphere, facilitating family-style dining experiences, ensuring residents receive regular snacks and hydration, and providing compassionate engagement and meaningful activities. The shift schedule is Sunday through Tuesday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, offering a predictable and manageable work schedule for part-time team members.
The ideal candidate is at least 18 years old, holds a high school diploma or equivalent, and is professional in both appearance and conduct. Strong communication skills in English, a positive and energetic attitude, and the physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds are essential. Additionally, you should be capable of assisting residents with mobility and post-fall support, ensuring safety and comfort at all times. A clean criminal record is required to ensure the highest standards of care and resident security.

Job Requirements
- Be at least eighteen years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be professional in appearance and conduct
- Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at 8th grade proficiency
- Have a positive and energetic attitude
- Be physically active to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and assisting after falls
- Be criminally cleared

Job Duties
- Create an inviting, comfortable, homelike, and tidy atmosphere in memory care apartments and common areas
- Prepare and serve family-style dining in the dining room, guiding residents to participate in setting tables and cleaning up
- Ensure residents receive snacks and hydration three times daily
- Engage residents and provide meaningful experiences as extra support in the Neighborhood
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and post-fall support
- Maintain professional conduct and appearance
- Adhere to company core values and safety protocols
