Job Requirements

  • Be at least eighteen years of age
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be professional in appearance and conduct
  • Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
  • Have a positive and energetic attitude
  • Be physically active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting after a fall
  • Must be criminally cleared

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English at an 8th grade level
  • Positive and energetic attitude towards seniors
  • Experience in caregiving or memory care preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to assist residents with mobility and after falls

Job Duties

  • Be a keeper of the home by creating an inviting, comfortable, homelike, and tidy atmosphere in memory care apartments and common spaces
  • Be a mealtime maven by preparing and serving family-style dining and guiding residents to participate in setting tables and cleaning up
  • Be a snack specialist by ensuring residents are guided to snacks and hydration three times a day
  • Be a caring connector by engaging residents and providing meaningful experiences
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and support after falls
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in memory care areas
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance residents' quality of life
