The Server at Arete at Aspen Ridge plays an essential role in enhancing the dining experience for residents by preparing meal trays and food carts, ensuring that menus and supplies are adequately stocked for upcoming meals. This position requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety in dining and kitchen areas. Responsibilities include assisting cooks with meal preparation, handling dishwashing duties, and maintaining sanitary conditions throughout the food service areas. - Must be 16 years of age or older
- high school diploma or equivalent if applicable
- experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred
- must have a Food Handler's Card or obtain within 30 days of employment

Job Duties
- Set up meal trays, food carts and the dining room
- ensure that food, menus and supplies for the next meal are readily available
- assist in daily cleaning duties, such as worktables, refrigerators, etc
- retrieve dishes from the dining room, wash and clean utensils, and return them to their proper storage areas
- keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous materials
- assist cooks in preparing meals
