The position involves a combination of administrative and direct resident interaction duties. Key responsibilities include managing multi-line telephone systems to efficiently route calls, professionally greeting visitors and assisting residents by addressing their questions and needs while maintaining confidentiality and privacy. Given the sensitive nature of the Memory Care environment, the role demands a calm demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The individual will also be responsible for monitoring emergency notification systems, responding swiftly to any situations requiring immediate assistance, and coordinating the response to emergencies, which is critical to resident safety.

In addition, the role includes welcoming guests, managing visitor logs, distributing mail and packages to residents and staff, and providing secretarial support to the administrative team as needed. Job Duties

  • Answer multi-line telephone and transfer calls and messages to appropriate personnel
  • monitor the emergency notification system, respond immediately, and direct help to the scene of the emergency
  • assist residents, guests, and visitors with questions or concerns
  • direct marketing appointments and walk-ins and provide a tour if necessary
  • distribute mail and packages to residents and associates
  • provide secretarial assistance to administration as needed
  • monitor and prepare visitor sign-in and sign-out logs
