Job Description

ChenMed is a leading family-owned and physician-led healthcare organization dedicated to transforming healthcare for seniors across the United States. The company prioritizes personalized, value-based care, focusing on improving the health and well-being of the populations it serves. Unlike traditional primary care providers, ChenMed adopts an innovative approach that emphasizes close patient relationships and preventive care, making healthcare more accessible and effective for medically underserved, Medicare-eligible seniors aged 55 and older. ChenMed is rapidly expanding its presence across markets, and its growth is fueled by an unwavering commitment to changing lives for both its patients and team members. With competitive compensation, extensive benefits, and robust career advancement opportunities, ChenMed encourages innovation, entrepreneurship, and kindness from every member of its workforce. Join ChenMed and become part of a team that makes a meaningful difference every day, fostering a work environment where ambition, work ethic, and compassion are highly valued and rewarded.

The Membership Growth Consultant (MGC) role at ChenMed serves as a vital frontline outside healthcare sales representative responsible for generating sales leads and expanding membership by nurturing productive relationships with senior citizens, key community partners, and senior-focused businesses. This role is integral to ChenMed's mission of enrolling new patients and supporting its rapid expansion. As the first tier in the MGC Success Plan and growth career path, incumbents in this role develop skills in organizing and executing sales events, community outreach, and crafting engaging, cost-effective strategies to maintain senior satisfaction and encourage referral sales. The MGC effectively communicates ChenMed's unique value proposition through local events such as health fairs, information tables, and talks, targeting seniors and their caregivers within the community. This position demands a combination of excellent interpersonal skills, marketing savvy, and a strong ability to develop and maintain partnerships with insurance agents, social workers, senior housing managers, and other key influencers. The MGC also manages vendor relationships and uses CRM tools such as Salesforce to document client interactions, ensuring efficient lead management and growth tracking. This is an exciting and dynamic sales-oriented role with opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and a chance to play a pivotal part in revolutionizing senior healthcare. The position is full-time with a salary range of $38,509 - $55,013, with additional bonuses or commissions reflecting performance. ChenMed offers a rewarding work-life balance, comprehensive employee benefits, and the chance to work in a mission-driven environment that values resilience, customer focus, effective communication, and networking expertise.
