Job Description

The Membership Concierge I role at Life Time is a vital position tasked with delivering the highest level of customer service to members and guests. Serving as the first point of contact, this role holds a significant responsibility in shaping the initial impression of the club, ensuring that every visitor feels welcomed and appreciated. The Membership Concierge I is more than just a front desk associate; they are ambassadors of the Life Time brand, creating value-based relationships that foster member loyalty and assist individuals in achieving their healthy lifestyle objectives. This position offers a dynamic and enjoyable work environment, focusing on creating extraordinary experiences through a hospitality mindset and effective communication. Responsibilities include managing incoming phone calls, providing accurate and updated information regarding club programming, events, policies, and pricing, as well as facilitating member transactions and account changes. The role requires multitasking and maintaining a high standard of service even during busy periods. To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should have prior experience in service or reception, strong communication skills, and a passion for health and wellness. A commitment to standing for extended periods and engaging actively with members underlines the physical and interpersonal demands of this role. Additionally, successful candidates will complete concierge certification upon hiring, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet Life Time's high standards. The position requires a minimum of 15 hours per week, allowing for a flexible schedule while contributing meaningfully to the member experience. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months service/reception experience
  • complete Concierge Certification upon hire
  • must work a minimum of 15 hours per week

  • passion for living a healthy way of life
  • ability to multi-task and deliver high quality customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • must have good verbal communication
  • must be able to stand for 4 hours at a time

Job Duties

  • Operates as first point of contact for members and guests
  • receives and facilitates incoming phone calls from members and guests
  • maintains updated knowledge to appropriately educate all members and guests of club programming, events, pricing, and policies
  • exemplifies a hospitality mindset to build relationships with members and guests, regularly creating extraordinary experiences
  • assists members with transactions and general account changes
