Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- six months retail experience including operating front-end equipment
- six months customer service experience
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- basic math and computer skills
- ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- willingness to perform physical tasks related to merchandise handling and maintenance.

Job Duties
- Assist management with supervision of associates in the assigned area
- assign duties to associates
- communicate goals and provide feedback
- train associates on processes and procedures
- provide direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques
- resolve member complaints according to company guidelines
- ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- support the Open Door Policy
- participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching and evaluating associates
- provide membership information and process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts
- encourage membership renewals and participate in sales and marketing events
- complete and maintain marketing documentation
- strive to meet membership goals and promote the value of Sam's Club products and services
- acknowledge and identify member needs
- assist members with purchasing decisions
- locate merchandise
- support members with self-service technology
- assist with transactions using registers or self-checkout
- ensure club pick up orders are filled
- handle claims and returns
- zone and organize merchandise
- identify shrink and damages
- maintain availability of carts and flatbeds
- support members with transporting items
- maintain parking lot cleanliness
- complete accounting records and file transactions
- follow accounting office procedures
- provide funds for proper register operation
- create and interpret financial reports
- assist with accounting investigations
- prepare daily deposits and oversee Cash Fund Transfers
- investigate overages and shortages
- maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial and personal information
- develop and implement processes to meet business needs
- collaborate with managers, coworkers, and customers
- analyze information and monitor progress
- identify and address improvement opportunities
- promote compliance with company policies, ethics and integrity
- assist management with ethical and compliance issues
