We are currently seeking a dedicated Member Services Representative to join the team at Flynn Fitness Group’s Planet Fitness locations. This role is a full-time position that offers an hourly wage of $15.00 and involves working in-person at our fitness centers. The Member Services Representative will play a critical part in upholding the Judgement Free Zone® philosophy by providing exceptional customer service to current members, prospective members, and guests. The role requires a friendly, approachable, and professional attitude, as it involves being the primary point of contact for members upon arrival, answering inquiries, guiding prospective members through membership options, and maintaining an organized and clean front desk and common areas. Beyond customer interaction, this role also includes logistical responsibilities such as operating the point-of-sale (POS) system for membership transactions, merchandise sales, and handling membership-related questions with accuracy and efficiency.
This position is not only about administrative and customer service duties but also involves maintaining the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the facility, including cleaning fitness equipment, restrooms, and other common areas. The physical demands of the job include standing and walking for prolonged periods, occasionally lifting up to 75 pounds, and handling cleaning supplies safely. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer service experience preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Punctuality and reliability

Job Duties
- Greet members and guests, always providing exceptional customer service
- Answer phones courteously and assist callers with a variety of questions
- Check members in or provide a legendary tour to prospective members
- Log amenities
- Communicate updates and events to members and guests
- Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct beverage or merchandise purchases on the point-of-sale system
- Utilize POS system to assist with new membership cards, change of address and billing or payment questions
- Go above and beyond to keep the front desk area and lobby clean and orderly
- Regular facility cleaning and upkeep such as mopping up spills under equipment, trash removal, cleaning windows and mirrors, and re-racking weights
- Regular cleaning of all exercise equipment and tanning beds
- Regular restroom and wet area cleaning and stocking
