Job Description

PURE is a member-owned property and casualty insurance company committed to offering exceptional service, unparalleled hospitality, and genuine care. Founded with the purpose of serving financially successful families, PURE is driven by the mission to provide smart insurance solutions at fair prices while placing members at the heart of everything we do. We aim to create a membership experience so compelling that our members never want to leave. Operating with transparency, clarity, and kindness, PURE fosters a supportive environment where professional and personal growth are priorities. The culture at PURE is centered on care, respect, openness to diverse perspectives, and a community spirit where every individual feels valued. We believe in lifting each other up through challenges and celebrating wins together, promoting a workplace that encourages collaboration and continuous learning.

The role of Member Services Associate at PURE is a full-time, hybrid position based in Charleston, with a dynamic schedule designed to accommodate both business needs and employee well-being. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who excels at multitasking across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, text, and live chat, to quickly and accurately respond to member inquiries. The Member Services Associate acts as the primary liaison, assisting members with billing inquiries, policy changes, renewal questions, and utilizing the online portal. Training is comprehensive and paid, ensuring new hires are fully prepared to handle member interactions confidently and professionally. The starting salary for this position is $50,000 with additional earning potential through overtime and a $500 monthly Exceptional Performance bonus that has no cap on winners. With frequent opportunities for salary increases every six months, this role rewards dedication and exceptional service.

Typical working hours span Monday through Saturday, totaling five days per week with specific shifts allocated from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. EST and MST across locations. The schedule generally follows Monday to Friday, including up to eight Saturdays annually and three company holidays (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas). The position is designed to maintain variety in daily assignments, ensuring engagement and growth, alongside personal and professional development opportunities. At PURE, employees receive complete home office equipment to facilitate remote work, along with commuter support of $100 per month for those working in-office three or more days per week. Our team members find this environment fulfilling as it blends challenge, support, and a people-first approach to customer service.

The Member Services Associate role is more than customer support; it’s about building meaningful, empathic connections that turn ordinary interactions into extraordinary experiences. If you value integrity, effective communication, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can develop your career while making a significant impact, PURE offers an excellent place to grow and succeed.
