Job Description

GreenState Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative committed to delivering outstanding financial services and solutions to its members. Operating as a full-service credit union, GreenState is dedicated to helping its members manage their financial lives with integrity, professionalism, and personalized support. The credit union serves a diverse membership base, providing products such as checking and savings accounts, loans, mortgages, investment services, and insurance products, all aimed at enhancing members' financial well-being and achieving their goals. GreenState is strongly rooted in community values, fostering a welcoming culture that emphasizes teamwork, diversity, and inclusion. This commitment to serving people over profits has made GreenState a trusted financial partner in the areas it serves.

The Member Service Representative (MSR) at GreenState Credit Union plays a crucial front-line role, representing the credit union to its members and embodying its mission to provide quality, responsive, and professional service. This position involves engaging members with warmth and respect, handling all daily financial transactions accurately, answering questions about products and services, and assisting with account discrepancies or concerns. Responsibilities include processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, and other financial transactions while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality of member information. The position requires a balance of technical financial knowledge and interpersonal skills, as MSRs also educate members on credit union products and services and refer them to specialized departments as needed.

At GreenState, the MSR will experience a supportive environment that nurtures professional growth, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The credit union offers flexible work hours Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings to accommodate member needs. The compensation range for this hourly role is $17.39 to $20.33 per hour, complemented by a monthly incentive opportunity and a progressive benefits package, reinforcing the credit union’s commitment to its employees’ overall well-being and job satisfaction. This role reports directly to the Manager Retail Branch and does not involve supervisory duties. GreenState prides itself on being an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and encourages candidates from all backgrounds to apply.

Joining GreenState Credit Union as a Member Service Representative means becoming part of a dynamic team working to empower members financially while making a positive impact in the community. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced retail financial environment, are passionate about delivering exceptional service, and are eager to contribute to a collaborative and inclusive workplace that values integrity, accuracy, and continuous learning.
