Job Description
Valencia Country Club, located in Valencia, CA, is an esteemed private club managed by Arcis Golf, renowned for delivering exceptional golfing and lifestyle experiences. The Member Relations Coordinator role is an essential position within the Operations department at Valencia Country Club, reporting directly to the General Manager and indirectly to the Vice President of Member Relations. This non-exempt hourly role is pivotal in marketing the club through direct client engagement to maximize the membership experience. The coordinator maintains ongoing relationships with club members to support the club's goals, chiefly focusing on membership growth and satisfaction.
In this role, the coordinator is responsible for establishing and nurturing positive member relationships and managing the new member onboarding process. The position plays a crucial part in curating and facilitating the club's lifestyle content and social offerings by collaborating with department heads to develop a unified lifestyle calendar for members and guests. The coordinator works closely with the food and beverage department to create and maintain detailed function sheets and event files for all member events, traditions, and promotions, including entertainment contracts, profit and loss forecasts, and event floor plans.
A significant aspect of the role involves active event participation to ensure flawless execution and fostering programming that drives increases in golf rounds, member visits, food and beverage revenue, and overall member satisfaction. Additionally, the coordinator manages the development and execution of member communication plans, including answering phones, routing calls, welcoming and directing guests, and producing weekly e-blasts, monthly calendars, and website updates. Expertise in social media content development is also vital to support club event promotion through various media.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of relevant golf course or private club experience preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in social media content creation
- ability to work evenings and weekends
- physical ability to stand, walk, reach, lift up to 25 pounds
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
