Job Description

The Member Experience Concierge (MEC) is a critical role within our Credit Union's Engagement Center, serving as the first point of contact for all members and visitors. Our Credit Union is a member-focused financial institution committed to delivering exceptional service and fostering strong relationships within our community. Members trust us to provide not only comprehensive financial solutions but also a seamless and welcoming experience every time they visit or interact with us.

As a Member Experience Concierge, you will play a vital role in shaping this initial experience. Your primary mission will be to create a positive and professional environment that reflects the Credit Union's dedication to outstanding member service. Acting with warmth, professionalism, and courtesy, you will be the friendly face that members see first, guiding them through their visit and connecting them to the resources or personnel best equipped to meet their needs.

In addition to welcoming members, you will carry out a variety of clerical and administrative duties. This may include providing engagement center personnel with important information, helping members and visitors navigate our service offerings, and managing express service functions when necessary. Moreover, part of your role involves educating members about our self-service technology, such as interactive teller machines, and encouraging the use of virtual and digital services to enhance convenience. You will also provide direction to specialized service areas within the Engagement Center, such as the Business Center, Commercial Account Member Service Representatives, and Financial Advisors.

This role requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with at least six months of experience in a customer service setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about assisting others and can demonstrate a commitment to upholding the values and service standards of our Credit Union.

Job Duties

  • Provide exemplary service as the first point of contact for members and visitors
