The Ritz-Carlton is a renowned luxury hospitality company that operates more than 100 award-winning properties worldwide. Known for its exceptional service and commitment to creating unforgettable guest experiences, The Ritz-Carlton attracts the world’s top hospitality professionals who are dedicated to curating lifelong memories for every guest. The company prides itself on maintaining the highest standards of luxury service, which are deeply embedded in its culture and operational philosophy. The Ritz-Carlton believes in empowering its employees to be creative, thoughtful, and compassionate while delivering personalized service. This approach has earned The Ritz-Carlton a prestigious reputation as a global brand leader in luxury hospitality. Furthermore, being part of The Ritz-Carlton means joining a portfolio of brands under Marriott International, one of the largest and most respected hospitality companies worldwide.
The role of the Front Office Associate at The Ritz-Carlton is pivotal in ensuring that the company’s renowned "Gold Standards" are delivered gracefully and thoughtfully every single day. This position involves assisting members and guests through various stages of their stay, from pre-arrival preparations to check-in, member activities, and check-out procedures. The responsibilities extend to conducting pre-arrival calls, making special arrangements such as grocery and amenity orders, and logging guest preferences in the computer system to personalize the experience. The associate serves as a crucial point of contact for guest requests, including transportation arrangements, reservations, and other special services, ensuring all needs are met promptly and professionally.
In addition to front desk duties like preparing arrival packets, processing billing, and performing audit checklists, this role requires handling visitor information queries and responding to unique guest requests to promote satisfaction. The associate also supports back-end operations by maintaining accurate records, documenting necessary information in system logs, and assisting with bell and valet services as needed. Safety and security are integral to the job, requiring the associate to report incidents, complete mandatory safety training, and uphold all company policies, including confidentiality and asset protection.
The ideal candidate will embody the spirit of hospitality by welcoming and acknowledging all members and guests with genuine appreciation while anticipating and addressing their service needs, including accommodations for individuals with disabilities. Effective communication, both verbal and written, is crucial to this role, along with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships within the team. The position demands physical stamina to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and to handle light lifting tasks. Overall, this role offers a unique opportunity to work within a globally recognized luxury brand, contributing to exceptional guest experiences and personal career growth within Marriott International’s esteemed network.
