Job Description

Base Concierge Base is a dynamic platform focused on fostering in-real-life social connections and building a strong community. Our Members are accomplished individuals who have spent years developing their careers, raising families, and establishing reputable standing in their respective fields. These Members come to Base because they seek more than just calendar appointments; they want meaningful, regular, in-person interactions with peers they genuinely wish to know and engage with. The platform thrives on creating intimate, in-person social experiences designed to enrich the lives of Members in an authentic, high-touch manner.

The role of the Concierge at Base serves as a critical human bridge that connects potential Members from the moment they apply to their attendance at their first event. This position is remote and communication happens exclusively through phone calls, SMS, and email. As a Concierge, you will take on the responsibility of outbound calling to new Members. The emphasis is on genuine dialogue—there are no scripts that sound scripted, only real conversations meant to foster connection. Responsiveness is key; you will quickly answer inbound SMS, emails, and calls to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for each Member.

Your mission will be to transition people seamlessly from the application stage to becoming active participants in Base events. You will ensure they not only plan to attend but successfully show up and feel welcomed, valued, and known from the very beginning. Curiosity about each Member’s unique story and interests will help you ask insightful questions that guide Members to the next step, ensuring a highly personalized approach that strengthens their connection to Base. Performance bonuses linked to your outcomes make this a rewarding, goal-oriented role.

This position is ideal for someone charismatic and personable, the type of individual that others enjoy staying on the phone with. You will present yourself professionally in every interaction—whether you’re speaking with founders, doctors, or high-profile professionals, you will earn their trust quickly and sincerely. A background in customer-facing roles where relationships and personalized attention were paramount is highly valued. Experience in environments like luxury hotels, private clubs, concierge medicine, fine dining, or members-only venues where high service standards and attentiveness to discerning clients were essential will set you apart.

You will be confident handling both warm and cold outbound calls and driven by competition, thriving on exceeding performance metrics. Your voice will be clear, warm, and accessible, never sounding forced or artificial. Genuine curiosity about the lives and needs of Members will drive your effectiveness, enabling you to build meaningful connections and facilitate lasting relationships.

This opportunity offers flexible hours (15 to 30 per week), allowing you to choose when you work, with a competitive pay rate of $30 per hour plus performance bonuses. You must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace to manage calls professionally. This remote role eliminates the need for video conferencing; all communication is solely through phone, SMS, and email.
