The position of Meeting Connections Manager at Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is an entry-level sales role within the hotel’s sales department. This role comes with a performance quota and serves as a critical liaison between the hotel and its clients to ensure the successful planning and execution of meetings and events. The Meeting Connections Manager is primarily responsible for handling special accounts or specific roles, typically managing less complex accounts and short-term meetings. This fast-paced position entails direct communication with clients to understand their unique needs and tailor services accordingly, as well as developing new business opportunities within an assigned market.

In collaboration with various departments within the hotel, the Meeting Connections Manager plays a vital role in coordinating resources and delivering outstanding event experiences. Responsibilities include building strong client relationships, managing incoming inquiries, making direct sales calls, and utilizing internet-based lead platforms to maximize bookings. Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years previous hotel experience
  • 1 year hotel sales experience
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
