The role of Meeting & Events Planner at CBRE is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage teams responsible for delivering exceptional workplace experience services. This position falls within the Workplace Experience function, where the primary goal is to ensure a seamless, professional, and welcoming environment for clients and visitors within designated buildings. The role involves significant coordination and management responsibilities for teams that provide concierge, reception, event management, and administrative office support services.

As a Meeting & Events Planner, you will be pivotal in setting work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training employees to maintain operational efficiency. You will mentor and coach team members, helping to develop their skills and enhance performance. Building and sustaining trusted relationships with clients will be crucial, as you will be tasked with negotiating resolutions to conflicting priorities and ensuring that service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.

In addition to leadership duties, the role requires continuous evaluation and improvement of processes. You will assess and address technological and training needs to keep the team and services aligned with industry standards. Managing vendor partnerships strategically to optimize cost savings and oversee contract negotiations is an essential part of the job. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards and confirming that all vendors have the appropriate insurance and contractual documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Combination of education and experience considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience in staffing and team development
  • Leadership skills to motivate and manage teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
