The Meeting & Events Planner role at CBRE is a pivotal position within the Workplace Experience function, responsible for leading and managing teams that deliver exceptional workplace services including Concierge, Reception, Meeting & Event Management, and administrative office tasks. As a Meeting & Events Planner, you will oversee daily team activities, establish schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff to optimize service delivery. You will build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, negotiate with various stakeholders to align priorities and resolve conflicts, and continually seek process improvements to enhance the workplace experience. Job Requirements

- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention

Job Duties
- Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities

- manage negotiations for contract services
- confirm all vendors have current proof of insurance and contractual documentation
- oversee programs run by third party vendors including food delivery, event organization, transportation, and mail distribution
- ensure all invoices for business services are billed accurately
- lead by example modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values
- influence parties of shared interests to reach agreements
- apply knowledge of own discipline and integration with others to achieve objectives
- identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues
