Job Description
CBRE Group, Inc. is a globally recognized Fortune 500 and S&P 500 company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. As the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm based on 2024 revenue, CBRE operates across more than 100 countries, employing over 140,000 professionals worldwide. CBRE’s offerings span four core business segments: Advisory services including leasing and sales; Building Operations & Experience, encompassing facilities and property management; Project Management services like program and cost consulting; and Real Estate Investments, including investment management and development. The company prides itself on a collaborative culture embodying values of respect, integrity, service, and excellence, fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Joining CBRE means becoming part of a dynamic team of forward-thinking problem solvers dedicated to creating meaningful impact for clients and communities.
The role of Meeting & Events Planner at CBRE is a pivotal position within the company’s Building Operations & Experience segment. This role centers on enhancing tenant engagement and experience by acting as the programming lead and concierge for office and retail tenants. You will leverage CBRE’s proprietary Activate app to drive tenant participation in events such as lunch and learns, activations, and other community-building programs designed to increase amenity usage and overall tenant satisfaction. As an Events Planner, you become the key facilitator ensuring all events and tenant services reflect CBRE’s high standards of hospitality and operational excellence.
Responsibility in this role includes comprehensive management of all amenity spaces and programming offerings within client properties. You will oversee everything from contract negotiation and booking to event execution, coordinating closely with property management, marketing, leasing teams, and third-party vendors. Leadership and team management are essential components, as you will establish work schedules, assign tasks, and mentor staff members to ensure seamless daily operations.
In this position, you will also uphold CBRE’s RISE hospitality standards which stand for Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence. Your role involves building and maintaining trusted client relationships, resolving priorities, and driving cost-saving vendor partnerships with thorough contract management and insurance verification. Beyond operational duties, the planner will manage programming calendars carefully balancing Owner-sponsored, community, pop-up, and tenant-related events to maximize engagement and profitability.
Analytical and reporting skills are a key part of the role, requiring you to deliver monthly detailed Owner-approved reports covering tenant engagement metrics, amenity utilization, leasing support, and marketing effectiveness. You will ensure alignment of mobile app content with clients’ branding and programming strategies and consistently seek feedback to inform performance improvements. Physical aspects of the job include overseeing event setup and teardown, requiring potential after-hours availability.
CBRE offers a competitive salary range for this position, from $90,000 to $95,000 annually, based on skills and experience. Employment benefits include 401(k) retirement plans, health insurance, dental and vision insurance, and life insurance, supporting the well-being and security of its employees. This role is an opportunity to contribute directly to creating engaging, vibrant tenant communities while advancing your career within the world’s leading commercial real estate firm.
