Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, appraising, and rewarding performance
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and complicated information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Advanced organizational skills
- Advanced math skills
Job Qualifications

- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred
- Ability to guide exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information
- Strong leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset
- Advanced math skills including ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations
Job Duties
- Provide formal supervision to employees
- Monitor the training and development of staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and coaching
- Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees
- Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities
- Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff
- Set and track staff and department deadlines
- Mentor and coach as needed
- Serve as primary contact with clients for meeting and events forecasts and strategies
- Troubleshoot and resolve client inquiries and escalated complaints
- Maintain department budget
- Approve purchase orders for event supplies as requested by the team
- Implement enhancements for event success by improving processes, procedures, and systems
- Review reports to measure productivity and present findings to management
- Ensure operations and vendors are compliant with location requirements
- Accountable for tracking department SLAs, KPIs, and benchmarks
- Monitor related performance data and identify solutions for gaps
- Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values
- Influence parties of shared interests to reach agreement
- Apply knowledge of own discipline and how it integrates with others to achieve team objectives
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues
