Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Five years previous experience in event or meeting management and hotel event services
- CMP designation a plus
- Strong experience in hotel negotiations
- Flexibility to travel and/or work a flexible schedule including non-traditional hours
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Smartsheet, Delphi.fdc and Vivien
- Proven aptitude for technology and software solutions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Job Duties
- Manage contracting, planning, executing and reconciliation of NCAA meetings and events
- Coordinate logistics for internal meetings and client groups
- Plan event space allocation, room setup, catering and audio-visual needs at hotels
- Manage proprietary systems including meeting requests, hotel inventory, rooming lists and registration
- Collaborate with vendors, NCAA staff, in-house catering and audio-visual teams
- Provide excellent customer service with strong communication, negotiating and problem-solving skills
- Assist in cross-department tasks and support team initiatives as needed
