Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in event coordination or related field
  • ability to travel to multiple locations as required
  • physical ability to lift 30-50 pounds
  • proficiency with meeting reservation systems
  • strong problem-solving abilities
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • commitment to provide excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Experience managing corporate or social events and meetings
  • basic logistical planning experience
  • vendor sourcing and management skills
  • understanding of food services and catering
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

Job Duties

  • Handling meeting room bookings using reservation systems to maximize utilization
  • coordinating audiovisual requirements, catering, conference room set-ups, signage, and material distribution
  • liaising between clients and vendors before, during, and after events
  • executing event set-up and tear down
  • producing event resumes and hosting pre- and post-event consultations
  • managing billing approvals and monitoring expenses to stay within client budgets
  • conducting post-meeting surveys and collaborating on improvement solutions
