Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
- Ability to move through confined and elevated spaces
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow safety and security policies
- Professional personal appearance

Job Qualifications

- Ability to read and analyze detailed banquet event orders
- Proficiency in customer service and guest relations
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Basic knowledge of safety and security protocols
- Attention to detail and ability to detect equipment defects
- Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Willingness to adhere to company standards and policies
Job Duties
- Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions and make introductions
- Ensure all arrangements are agreeable
- Read and analyze banquet event order to gather guest information
- Determine proper set up, timeline, and specific guest needs
- Respond to and try to fulfill special banquet event arrangements
- Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- Speak with others using clear and professional language
- Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships
- Support team to reach common goals
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
- Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
- Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
