We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Busser to join the Mediterraneo team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operational flow during service hours by maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the dining environment. A Busser at Mediterraneo acts as a crucial support to the servers and kitchen staff, helping to create a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Compensation for this position includes $16.90 per hour plus tips, reflecting our appreciation for the hard work and contribution of our team members.
As a Busser, you will be responsible for pre-bussing and post-bussing tables promptly, ensuring that they are reset to the restaurant’s high standards for each new guest. You will also aid in delivering food orders with care and precision to enhance guest satisfaction. The role demands a friendly, outgoing personality combined with efficiency and a proactive attitude, enabling you to thrive in a fast-paced fine-dining setting. Key duties include maintaining indoor and outdoor seating areas, such as fire pits and fireplaces, organizing glassware and tableware, and monitoring cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant.
Moreover, the Busser will handle tasks related to general upkeep, such as cleaning floors, windows, and restrooms, as well as trash removal, to uphold the establishment's impeccable hygiene standards. Listening attentively to any guest concerns and escalating these appropriately to management ensures that all visitor experiences are positive and issues are swiftly resolved. The position occasionally requires assisting with maintenance reporting and cross-departmental deliveries.

Job Qualifications

- Previous bussing or restaurant experience preferred
- Effective communication skills in English
Job Duties
- Pre-bus and post-bus tables promptly, resetting them to high standards
- Retrieve food orders from the kitchen and deliver them to tables with care
- Maintain a friendly and outgoing demeanor to welcome guests
- Ensure indoor and outdoor seating areas including fire pits and fireplaces are set up and maintained
- Organize and restock clean glassware, removing soiled items
- Monitor cleanliness of restrooms, floors, windows, and trash removal
- Listen attentively to guest concerns and escalate issues to management
- Report maintenance needs to management
- Assist with delivering items from the kitchen to other outlets
