The restaurant is currently seeking a part-time Bartender to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring all guests have a memorable experience by providing outstanding customer service at the bar. The position is non-exempt with an hourly rate of $16.90 plus tips, reflecting the importance of skill and dedication in this role. Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing drinks according to standard recipes, handling transactions efficiently, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar environment. Additionally, the bartender may assist with general cleaning and supporting waitstaff during busy periods.

This role requires a professional who is knowledgeable about alcoholic beverages, cocktail preparation, and current service laws. Job Requirements

2-3 years of experience as a bartender in a restaurant or upscale lounge environment
must have a valid California Food Handler's Card
must have thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation methods, glassware, equipment, and service
must have current knowledge of legal aspects of alcoholic beverage service (TIPS certified or ability to obtain certification)
must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
exceptional customer service skills
basic computer skills
ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings

Job Qualifications
