The community prides itself on its commitment to seniors, ensuring they live with health, happiness, and dignity. Baywood Court provides a safe and nurturing living space where seniors can thrive physically, emotionally, and socially. As a modern and vibrant facility operating 24/7, Baywood Court emphasizes service-minded care, aiming to make a significant positive impact on the lives of vulnerable residents. The organization values inclusivity and equal employment opportunities, encouraging applicants from diverse backgrounds who are capable of fulfilling the role requirements.
The position available is for a Full-Time Medication Technician/Caregiver with an open schedule to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Most of the working hours will be spent performing caregiver duties within the community. This role involves being conscientious about residents' medication management under Title 22 RCFE regulations and actively supporting residents in their daily living activities. The caregiver responsibilities include light housekeeping, assistance with dressing, bathing, restroom use, and mobility support such as transporting residents from the dining room to their apartments.
Candidates must have open availability to work weekends without exceptions and should be ready to complete rigorous screening processes, including drug screening, physical examinations with tuberculosis testing, and FBI and Department of Justice criminal background checks that include minor misdemeanors and DUIs. The role offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $23.00, with increments up to $26.00 for those with 10 or more years of experience. Baywood Court offers a supportive, cheerful work environment with many benefits designed to promote both personal and professional fulfillment for employees.
Working at Baywood Court means joining a community invested not only in resident care but also in employee welfare. The community fosters a lively, engaging workplace culture with events, recognition celebrations, and opportunities to grow through scholarships and continued education. Employees enjoy comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, alongside employer-paid life insurance and retirement savings plans with matched contributions. Additionally, perks such as pet insurance, discounted pet care, and affordable employee meals emphasize the caring ethos that extends from residents to staff alike. The position offers meaningful work for compassionate individuals who seek to contribute to a thriving senior living community and grow as professionals in the caregiving and medication management field.
