Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ohio Med Tech certification
  • Knowledge and experience in working with elderly
  • Previous dementia experience preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
  • Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Full use of hands, arms, and legs
  • Ability to read thermometers, charts and testing equipment
  • Ability to operate washing machines, dryers, and kitchen appliances

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ohio Med Tech certification
  • Experience working with elderly, preferably with dementia
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Ability to speak English clearly and understandably
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor

Job Duties

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents
  • Maintain accurate medication and treatment records
  • Assist residents with daily living activities as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure comprehensive resident care
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations
  • Communicate effectively with residents and families
  • Participate in ongoing training and development
