Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Ability to speak English in an understandable manner
- Knowledge and experience in working with elderly
- Previous dementia experience preferred
- Certification required according to state regulations
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Full use of hands, arms, and legs
- Ability to read thermometers, charts, and operate appliances
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Ability to speak English clearly
- Knowledge and experience working with elderly residents
- Previous dementia care experience preferred
- Certification as Medication Technician in accordance with state regulations
Job Duties
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents
- Maintain accurate medication and treatment records
- Assist residents with daily living activities as a caregiver
- Monitor residents for medication side effects and report changes
- Follow state and facility regulations regarding medication administration
- Provide compassionate support to elderly residents, including those with dementia
- Operate medical and household equipment as needed
