With a commitment to compassionate care and respect for individual dignity, Sunrise operates a network of senior living communities that offer a range of services from independent living to assisted care and memory support. The company believes that meaningful work is rooted in purpose, and that team members who are passionate about making a positive impact contribute significantly to residents' well-being. Sunrise Senior Living prides itself on fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment where employees are valued and empowered to grow and succeed in their careers. Beyond just a job, Sunrise offers a career path that embraces personal development and meaningful connections with residents and their families.

The Medication Aide/Med Tech position at Sunrise Senior Living plays a crucial role in the delivery of safe and effective medication management to residents. This role involves administering medications and treatments according to physician orders while adhering to strict protocols that ensure accuracy and respect for resident dignity. Medication Aides/Med Techs are responsible for documenting medication administration in real time, monitoring residents for reactions or side effects, conducting narcotic counts as per policy, and maintaining organized medication inventories. Attention to detail and compliance with safety and infection control standards are essential to this role, as they directly contribute to preventing medication errors and identifying early signs of health changes among residents. This position requires certification in medication administration as well as CPR and First Aid, with senior care experience considered a valuable asset. The job offers a competitive pay range of $19.65 to $24.65 per hour, underscoring the organization's commitment to recognizing the critical nature of this work. Employees in this role can expect to work in a dynamic, caring community that values their contributions and provides ample opportunities for professional growth and personal fulfillment.

Sunrise Senior Living supports its team members with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans; retirement savings programs; employee assistance and discount programs; paid time off including holidays and sick leave; myFlexPay options for quick access to earned wages; and tuition reimbursement to support ongoing education. The company also offers performance-based bonuses that reward dedication and excellence in care. With a reputation as a certified Great Place to Work, Sunrise is committed to diversity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunity, ensuring a welcoming and respectful workplace for all employees. Joining Sunrise Senior Living means joining a community that not only cares for seniors but actively invests in the well-being and success of its workforce. This position represents a meaningful career opportunity for individuals motivated by making a difference every day in the lives of others while building a rewarding professional future.
