The role of Medication Aide/Med Tech at Sunrise Senior Living is vital in ensuring resident safety and wellbeing through the accurate administration of medications and treatments. This position requires adherence to the Six Rights of Medication Administration—right resident, right medication, right dose, right route, right time, and right documentation—and diligent monitoring of residents during and after medication delivery. Medication Aides/Med Techs play a crucial role in preventing medication errors, identifying early signs of health changes, and promoting a safe environment by maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards in medication management. This position also involves meticulous documentation in MAR/TAR systems, reporting concerns promptly, and maintaining medication carts and rooms in a clean and organized manner. This full-time role offers a competitive pay range of 21.60 to 27.05 per hour, reflecting the importance and responsibility of the position.
