Through integrated medical, security, and wellbeing services, International SOS supports its clients worldwide. One of its specialized divisions, International SOS Government Medical Services (GMS), is headquartered in Houston, Texas and offers contracted healthcare support to U.S. government defense and civil agencies. The GMS team plays a vital role in supporting military operations, humanitarian missions, disaster response efforts, diplomatic missions, and healthcare delivery for vulnerable populations around the globe.
International SOS Government Medical Services is currently seeking a Medical Support Assistant (MSA) to join their team. This role primarily involves providing front-line administrative and patient support within Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) clinics. As a Medical Support Assistant, you will often be the first point of contact for Veterans accessing healthcare services, ensuring their appointments are efficiently scheduled and that their medical records are accurately maintained. The position is designed for individuals who are passionate about helping others, organized, and committed to contributing to a mission-driven healthcare team that supports Veterans. The MSA role is integral in maintaining smooth clinic operations, managing schedules, and offering superior customer service to Veterans, clinic staff, and visitors.
The opportunity to work as an MSA with International SOS Government Medical Services not only allows you to be part of a reputable global organization but also to make a meaningful impact supporting those who have served the country. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $19 to $23 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, there is a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, a 401k plan, paid time off, and an annual bonus. This role requires compliance with VA policies, HIPAA standards, and Joint Commission requirements to ensure a high standard of care and confidentiality. If you are a dependable, service-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and a desire to support Veterans' healthcare needs, this position provides an ideal platform to grow and contribute within a respected healthcare support environment.
